“I will make sure you will never be able to place an order on the internet again.” “I’m an attorney, I will sue you.” “I will call the CEO of your company and play him the tape of this phone call.” “I’m going to call your local police and have two officers come over and arrest you.” “You’d better get this through your thick skull.” “You have no idea who you are dealing with.”
Sounds like a place I’d want to deal with. With so many other retailer out there, you have to wonder who has the thick skull here.

Giants lackluster in win
November 7, 2005 at 12:12 am | In Sports | Leave a CommentAfter 36-0 agains the skins, I guess I was hopnig for more than the showing they put up agains the niners. Eli looked less than sharp although he did have his moments. And what’s with the penalities–22+ last I was counting. Both teams just looked flat, but a win is a win.
Sonance SS4 speaker selector
November 4, 2005 at 2:59 am | In Home Theater | Leave a CommentWhat a POS…mine got smoked…literally when I was calibrating my sub and I happed to have my zone 2 selected to the same CD source. I still wonder if I have to assume some blame here, but not after opening and looking inside the SS4–it’s cheaply built. Anyway, this sent a lot of low frequency (20-100Hz) signals not only to my subs, but to my zone 2 output. Now none of the 4 zone 2 speakers were turned up (no audio output), but all 4 were selected via the SS4. Soon there was that smell of magic smoke. Shut everthing down and finally noticed that my zone2 speakers weren’t working. Checked everything out and sure enough, the SS4 was fried—it’s cheap plastic innards were melted, 2 sets of the internal wires were scorched to the point that they weren’t even connected to their outputs anymore. The “protection” switch was on, but it’s just a cheap resistor which didn’t stand a chance. IMHO, avoid the Sonance SS4 at all costs.
Smallville/DoH X-Over?
November 4, 2005 at 2:52 am | In Miscellaneous | Leave a CommentCool episode (not because of the strip club, but that didn’t hurt), but it was cool to see the ole Dukes together again. Why a blue car instead of orange? Maybe they wanted to be real subtle about it, but it’s atleast the 2nd DoH reference I’ve seen in episodes (the other was the theme playing on the truck radio).
Mile “High”
November 4, 2005 at 2:49 am | In Miscellaneous | Leave a CommentGotta love that voters have pasted a “city” law allowing people to posses 1 oz of pot. Even better is that state and federal laws forbid it and trump the city law from what I understand. Nevertheless, I guess everyone in Boulder managed to get their vote in on this one.
