Fanta$y Football
December 1, 2005 at 2:27 am | In Games, Sports | Leave a CommentSo the ONE year I play in all the various leagues for NO money for winning and you guessed it. I’m winning all my divisions except one. Was it the almightly dollar that was preventing me from winning in the past or just crappy players (who were making many almighty dollars)

Jets come to Denver
November 19, 2005 at 5:39 am | In Sports | Leave a CommentAnd manage to score a major traffic jam…well at least they did something to slow Denver down.
Giants lackluster in win
November 7, 2005 at 12:12 am | In Sports | Leave a CommentAfter 36-0 agains the skins, I guess I was hopnig for more than the showing they put up agains the niners. Eli looked less than sharp although he did have his moments. And what’s with the penalities–22+ last I was counting. Both teams just looked flat, but a win is a win.
Denver/Philly–collapse avoided
October 31, 2005 at 2:42 am | In Sports | Leave a CommentIf things looked bad for the Eagles on TV, they were even worse at the stadium. They just looked terrible in the first half. Now that’s not bad being they are a NFC East division foe, but when you have McNabb (aka “throw too low”) and LJ Smith on your fantasy football team, you can’t help for a little offense. They almost made it a game, but that INT as Philly was moving in for a possible tying TD or mayabe a FG really cost them the game….and for some reason also caused it to rain. So I got the best of both, some points from Philly and a win from Denver.
Giants crush skins
October 31, 2005 at 2:36 am | In Sports | Leave a Comment36-0 in a Giants/Redskins game? Typically these teams mean a 13-10 type of score IF their offenses are clicking, 6-3 if they are not, but 36 points…..well done.
Here is an interesting clip from espn.com—Giants’ fans knew Pierce would be a good asset, but here was a bonus
“The opening play, Barber revealed, came off a suggestion by middle linebacker Antonio Pierce, who defected from the Redskins after a standout 2004 season to sign with the Giants as an unrestricted free agent. Pierce told the coaches that the Redskins’ defense likes to choose five frequently-run plays it feels the opposition will start the game with, and will over-defend them. The run by Barber, on which he got solid downfield blocks from his wide receivers, was one the Giants had not used much in 2005.”
Who do I route for?
October 30, 2005 at 5:10 pm | In Sports | Leave a CommentGiants/Redskins, easy…Giants
Eagles/Denver…hummm, Denver is my adopted team by location so I should route for them. The Eagles are from the NFC East which I prefer of the AFC, BUT an Eagles lost is good for the Giants.
Best case scenario: Giants and Denver win.
Eli Giant in Win
October 24, 2005 at 5:41 pm | In Sports | Leave a CommentGotta love being a Giants’ fan living in Colorado today. Blame the refs all you want, but the Broncos just couldn’t finish. They [Broncos] are decent and an experienced team [relative to the Giants], but they are NOT as good as their record states. The Eagles game should be a interesting test for Denver as will the ’skins for the Giants.
